This was a lovely tribute! I'm a Millennial (born in '92) but I also loved the Ramona books growing up. I loved that they didn't shy away from the messy and uncomfortable parts of family life or the realities of growing up in a working-class household, and yet despite the challenges that Ramona faced in the series, she somehow still managed to keep "winning at growing up." Oh, and that she took zero BS from boys!
